The brief was to create a new residential development on a brownfield site in London. The building was completed in 2018.
The building was to be modern in looks as well as performance with specialist Dutch thin bricks standing, seam dark Zinc or timber panelling, white render and large glazing elements including floor to ceiling high glass doors.
The interior has a beautiful ‘floating’ staircase with glass balustrade over which sits a 6 meter long roof light. All rooms have ample daylight and many have views of the carefully crafted private garden.
The home is super insulated and incorporates efficient sensor controlled heating systems and underfloor heating, Throughout the property heating, lighting, white goods and security can be remotely controlled
