Complete remodelling and refurbishment of a Victorian Terraced property in Crouch End, London, to have new rear and side infill extensions and roof dormer.
For a new kitchen breakfast room to have lots of daylight and connect to an area openable to the fresh air and garden.
To get daylight into the heart of the building a long skylight above the kitchen space was installed connecting directly to a large glazed opening and window seat for reading and enjoying views of the garden.
The roof dormer provides a bedroom and ensuite with the benefit of full height glass doors allowing lots of daylight and views of the garden and parks beyond.
The clients wanted the property to have a character feel, so waist height panelling was installed throughout the hallway and stairs with other rooms having matching details in bookcases, wardrobes and window seats, creating a unified feel to the interior.
