The Clients as young parents and busy professionals needed a family home with privacy for family members as well as to be able to expansively entertain, make better use of their garden and create separate accommodation for an Au pair.
The Hampstead property had been poorly converted from a large house and was lacking in an overall connection between rooms and their uses and between rooms and the garden having no direct view onto the garden.
A new near full plot width garden room was built, incorporating a kitchenette and WC room, to allow the family to fully enjoy their garden. The main kitchen dinner, living room was redesigned to be contemporary modern.
The property layout was re-planned being zoned as private and public with plenty of storage and to be changeable as the children grew older with a new self-contained flat for the aupair.
