Complete remodelling and upgrading with a new rear ground floor extension, creating a large kitchen dinner and family room, added a double roof dormer to create an additional two bedrooms and a shower room and remodeled other internal rooms’ layouts and circulation.
The design successfully combined restored and recycled Victorian elements with modern detailing, fixtures, fittings and joinery to create a harmonious and stimulating interior.
Energy use and consumption have been reduced following the addition of insulation to walls, floors and roof as well as the windows being replaced with new double glazed Victorian sash windows being combined with energy efficient services throughout.
DJADS undertook the project from initial concept development through contentious planning onto site construction and to final certification.
